About the Role

Are you a dynamic and creative digital designer who is a strong team player? Our Digital and Information Services Branch want you!

The Business Capabilities and Solutions Architect is pivotal in designing and implementing SCC’s technology solutions. As a requirement of the role, you will:

• Develop solution architecture that aligns with the needs of SCC and future strategic goals while adhering to, and contributing to, SCC’s technology design principles.
• Understand and document business strategy on behalf of DIS.
• Develop business capability models.
• Be responsible for development and ongoing management of technical architecture.
• Provide architectural and strategic guidance to projects.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships and provide consultancy services to teams throughout council to assist with understanding the business impact of emerging technologies, and to prepare through strategic planning.

About you

As a professional in the field, you will possess a strong understanding of digital disruption and vendor & contract management processes. Complementing your formal degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar will be your experience in digital and business consultancy.

Utilising your strong interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to advocate and consult with stakeholders, often with competing interests.

As a requirement of this role, digital solutions design and business consultancy experience are pivotal to this position.
